Gamers break an unfortunate new TV record, holiday party time is here, and the IGDA needs your help to measure diversity in the industry!

A wet-chill is in the air, let us all warm ourselves with good food, good drink, and good company. The IGDA-LA is currently working on holiday party plans. There is a tentative plan for the first weekend in December.

The IGDA has just released this year's annual survey to measure our industry's diversity and working conditions. We want to hear from everyone in the industry!

Finally, this week saw perhaps one of the saddest moments in television game show history.

A group of video gamers, including IGDA executive Gordon Bellamy, lost the most cash ever lost by a group on an American game show. The gamers gained, and subsequently lost, a whopping $600,000 pot over the course of 2 episodes on the new ABC show "Million Dollar Mind Game".
